ABOUT US
Ed Strogen has personally been involved in the sale or valuation of more than 800 medical practices, since 1983. He is a Certified Financial Planner, and holds a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Finance from LaSalle University.
The value of a medical practice is a personal opinion, based upon the pertinent facts for each practice. Variables include the medical specialty, geographical location, type of building, practice revenue, net income, reason for sale or appraisal, and a host of other factors. The selling price of a practice which must be sold within a month will generally be significantly less than a similar practice in which the physician plans to retire in several years.
Unlike real estate transfers, medical practice sales are not subject to public reporting. Whether you are a buyer or seller, you should consider the services of a medical practice consultant who specializes in the appraisal and transfer of medical practices.
